The Acquisitions Task Force is comprised of Mentors and Campuses who currently do not use acquisitions in Aleph, but will develop their use of Alma to strategically use Alma acquisitions functions.
Alma Acquisitions Start-Up Task Force
The Alma Acquisitions Start-Up Task Force will focus on developing best practices to assist campuses who are not currently using Aleph (the LMS) for acquisitions or funds management to transition to use Alma for acquisitions and funds management. The Task Force will run from Fall 2018 to Winter 2018/2019, with the following deliverables:
The Task Force will include mentors with experience using acquisitions in an LMS/LSP, who will help to provide guidance on how campuses can map their current workflows and processes to Alma. Campuses who are part of the Task Force will work with mentors to modify processes and provide input on the Acquisitions Start-Up Toolkit and will meaningfully review current practices and closely consider the advice of the acquisitions mentors.
