Develop and maintain system wide policies to enhance discovery across the SUNY Library Consortium (SLC).   Research and develop configuration recommendations for discovery within the Library Services Platform (LSP).  Explore new and emerging options for integrating discovery and fulfillment in the LSP and associated discovery layer to expand the sharing of resources within the SLC.  Propose optimal discovery settings, including streamlined management of normalization rules at the consortial level, that will enhance the user experience and take advantage of the entire SLC collection.   Review options that will allow the best discovery experience of local resources while also promoting SLC wide and global resources.  In coordination with Analytics group, create shared analytics recommendations to continue data-driven development of discovery across SUNY.  Work with the E-Resources Management Working Group to determine the best method for managing and displaying E-resources within the SLC.  Analyze fulfillment options within discovery, and recommend best practices to the LSP Access Services and Resource Sharing Working Group that are user-friendly and encourage the best use of local and system-wide resources.  Review needs and options for Discovery training in the SUNY Library Consortium, and recommend training plans to the LSP Task Force and LSP Training Working Group.
