SLSS and Accessibility

The SLSS is committed to supporting SUNY Library and SUNY EIT Accessibility's efforts to improve accessibility for campus faculty, staff, students, and community members who visit our campuses and use our online resources.

In addition to participating in SUNY EIT webinars and open forums, SLSS staff are doing the following:

  • Developing a service to help SUNY libraries manage accessibility for their webpages and other online content.
  • Working to identify and improve accessibility problems with SLSS managed pages in LibGuides, LibCal, and LibAnswers
  • Pursuing accessibility certification via training in Deque University
