SUNY Library Vendor Accessibility Repository: Home

Overview

The SUNY Library Shared Services team is working with SUNY EIT Officers to determine the best way to assess library resource accessibility. This guide is a first step towards reaching that goal. We've compiled a list of centrally managed library vendors and their platforms, as well as other commonly used library vendors. For each vendor, we'll compile their accessibility statements, contact person, VPATs, alternative access request options, and any other available accessibility information.

SUNY is working on developing a SUNY Libraries Accessibility Cohort to develop understanding of accessibility issues and relevant technical accessibility standards, policies and laws. Cohort members will be expected to gather input on accessibility issues from campus stakeholders at their institutions. As an expected deliverable of their participation, Cohort members will be asked to work as a team to critically review VPATs and accessibility documentation.
